Safe at Home

Safe-at-Home West Virginia in an innovative approach to providing child welfare and community services to youth ages 12-18 who have a severe emotional disability and are at-risk of residential placement or currently in residential placement needing to transition back to their community. This state program seeks to serve youth and their families in their communities by wrapping needed services and supports around the family. 

Safe-at-Home is wraparound based on the evidence informed and evidence based National Wraparound Initiative. 

What can families expect?

  • A voice that guides the decisions and the process.
  • 24-hour support in times of crisis.
